I came to Sugar and Spice about 7 years ago as a client. At that time of my life I was going through some very rough things with my ex husband. I really needed some encouragement and reassurance as a woman, and I received so much more than that.
Shortly after my session, I started working at S&S as a photographer. Working here I have found lasting friendships that feel more like family, have been welcomed into a part of a praying sisterhood, and I am daily surrounded by so many caring hearts. Working with women each and every day the way I do here - has made me a better human.
I love being able to hear women's stories, and that I am able to be a light to them by showing them their true beauty - both inside & out.
As the years go by, I hope to continue to be an encouragement & a blessing to all the women who walk into the Sugar and Spice studio. The transformation process of makeup and hair is one of the best parts of my day. I am blessed by each photo session as it has truly become the best creative outlet for me.
All of these are benefits to a greater purpose: to build women up, make them believe in themselves and, as an added bonus, I get to know so many women's strong & brave hearts.
