We recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance, especially during peak senior season (spring–fall). However, if you’re on a tight timeline, reach out—we often have openings that can work for last-minute sessions.

Sessions can be done in-studio, on-location, or a mix of both. We’ll help you choose locations that fit your style—whether that’s natural outdoor settings, urban vibes, or a more polished studio look.

Most seniors bring 2–5 outfits depending on their session length. We’ll help you plan looks that give variety while still feeling cohesive. Gals also have access to studio's closets (for outfits, shoes, jewelry & more!)

Yes! You don’t need any modeling experience. We guide you through every pose, expression, and angle so you feel confident and look natural in every image.

Absolutely—parents are welcome to stay during the session. We want you to feel comfortable and supported the whole time. Family members can even join in and be a part for a few shots, if you'd like.

Yes, professional hair styling and/or makeup can be added to your session. It’s designed to photograph beautifully and still feel like you—just elevated. • "Lips, Lids & Lashes": $30 (add 15 minutes) We will take care of applying false lashes (if wanted), your eye makeup and lipstick/gloss. Come with your face makeup applied. NO mineral makeup, please. We recommend that you apply a photo ready primer, foundation, bronze, blush & highlighter. • Full makeup: $55 (add 1/2 hour) We will apply photo ready primer, foundation, bronze, blush & highlighter - along with the "Lips, Lids & Lashes" application. • Hairstyling: $100 (add 45 minutes) Hair will be completely styled (including clip-in extensions if you want them for thick, long, fun hair). • Hair styling AND makeup: $150 (add 1 1/4 hours) Full makeup will be applied by one of our professional makeup artists, and hair will be completely styled (including optional clip-in extensions).

We recommend bringing your outfits, any personal props (sports, instruments, letters, etc.), and any inspiration images you love. We’ll guide you through everything else.

We originally started as a boudoir and pinup photography studio—but as our clients (mostly women) grew with us, they began asking for more: family sessions, fitness photography, business headshots, and senior portraits for their sons and daughters. We fell in love with all of it, which led us to create a dedicated brand for this work, Crowning Images.
