The LABEL:
We struggled with adding a gallery to our website with the label "plus size boudoir" or "curvy women boudoir" - or really anything like that - because labels can be great to help us feel connected, but they can also bring insecurity. BUT...so many women have asked for a gallery dedicated to showcasing some sexy, curvy, plus-size women; so we obliged. And truly, it does help us find content when you need it. If you found our website by searching "plus size boudoir", we are so happy - because you're in the RIGHT place. Even if we're not a fan of this particular label, we don't want women to miss out on finding us because we are avoiding using it.
The OUFITS:
We have tons of outfit options that we know you'll love and will be flattering, so don't worry about that! You can also come visit us for a tour of the studio, so see all the sexy lingerie and outfits we offer in your size. (And bonus: you can meet the team and see all the sets in person!). But remember...you are always welcome to bring your own things that you love and that you know fit you well.
BODY ISSUES & POST PRODUCTION:
We get it! Our clients and team are regular women - NOT MODELS - and struggle with the same issues we all deal with! We know all the tricks to hide the things you want hidden & to highlight your best features. We will use posing, lighting, styling and to flatter your figure and celebrate who you are - so that retouching is minimal. So...trust us, you don't need to worry about looking perfect or losing those extra pounds. It's our job to make you look spectacular...and we know exactly how to do it. And...don't forget...body shaping, contouring & more is INCLUDED with our products.
There seems to be a problem in the boudoir industry. Not only do many photographers not have outfits for curvy women, they also aren't experienced at shooting curvy women. Honestly, it breaks our hearts when our clients mention that they were rejected in the process of scheduling a shoot until they found us. To be fair, we understand that companies have the right to chose the art aesthetic they want for their photographs. However, we just don't agree that it should determine who has the opportunity to feel beautiful.
We have thousands of raves from women that had concerns about their body issues - and walked away feeling and looking beautiful, empowered and sexy….and you will too!
Side note: sometimes it's hard to really tell how "curvy" someone really is because of the outfits, posing & retouching tricks! We also use body contouring, shaping and shading tricks in post production, and some clients asked for more retouching than others.
