I thought I had prepared myself as much as possible for this day. I've been happily married for 34 years, a mother of 2 wonderful kids and now a grandmother.
This was my time... time for me!
Having just turned 62 years old, I've missed the inner woman in me....my fun sexy side that has been put on hold for the sake of others. In the search to find myself again, I started working out at the gym 3 days a week, eating right and drinking a lot less wine! I've taken better care of my health. I had my teeth straightened and whitened, and blended my gray hair with some highlights. As a result of my hard work, I am 40 pounds lighter and happier than I've been in a long time!
What a perfect time to have a boudoir photo shoot with the Sugar and Spice ladies! My reasons for doing this is: 1st - for myself, and then - to surprise my husband. (And boy, was he ever surprised! I think I made him blush a little.)
My confidence was on firm ground, and I was very excited for my shoot. I got to the studio door, knocked softly and a hint of nervousness came across my thoughts. I shook it off, knocked loudly and stood there - unsure of what to expect. When Jennifer opened the door, she made me feel as if I had finally come home. Her smile and confidence put me right at ease. As we talked during hair and make up - I felt like we had known each other forever!
Jennifer and my photographer, Katya listened to me, and were very good at paying attention to what I was looking for in my photo session. I told them my husband works construction, and that I wanted that included in on my shoot.
Being an older mature woman, I wanted it to express myself in a beautiful, fun and elegant way. I was a bit overwhelmed with the selection of sets and clothing to choose from, but with the professional guidance from the ladies - it was so much fun. I was treated with dignity and respect and had a lighthearted, playful experience!
If you think you can not do this... take the thoughts away from your mind and go for it!
I thought I was prepared for this day in every way possible. What I was not prepared for was the amazing fulfillment in my heart and mind that will forever be a part of my life!

This gorgeous grandmother definitely took our breath away. She wanted some tasteful boudoir pictures for herself and boudoir pictures for her husband, but we had NO IDEA that her personality would wow us as much as her sexiness. Kudos to Jean for all of the hard work and time that she's invested in herself - AND for treating herself to a sexy boudoir photo shoot to show off all that hard work!
