These last couple of years have been really hard for me, as I lost seven very important people in my life in under a year, my work as a teacher was falling apart as we saw happening across the country.
From the time I walked in I felt at ease. Everyone was very professional, nice and encouraging which made everything fall into place.
On top of this, I was doubting myself as a mom and my marriage was falling apart. I was losing myself, my confidence was gone and I didn't know how to get out of my funk. Then one day I saw my friend Courtney all glammed up and she told me all about her Sugar & Spice experience. That sparked my interest - and then came her photos. I was speechless and wanted to know more. It was a huge step to schedule the appointment and make the down payment, but Courtney kept assuring me what a fun experience it was and how wonderful everyone was.
Fast forward to the shoot: It started with Viktoriya giving me such a beautiful look - that I was truly taken aback and I felt beautiful. From there Katya and Sydney put me at ease instantly and gave me confidence throughout the shoot. They were encouraging of what I picked out for my outfits, earrings and shoes. I have never been showered with so many compliments that truly made me feel beautiful, and I could feel my confidence grow. It was the first time in 22 years that anyone saw me in lingerie that wasn't my hubby, but I would do it again!
When I viewed the photos I just stared in shock as I have never seen myself in that light.
I have never thought of myself as sexy or beautiful as I was always "one of the guys" but those photos showed me that I am more than that. They showed me that I should be confidence and I need to stop putting myself down and truly see myself for who I am.
Thank you to Sydney, Katya, and Viktoriya for making this such a special day for me. You truly helped me get my spark back that I have been missing for so long.
