What to know before coming to the studio for your session!
Our team has completed and been certified in an optional course on cleaning, sanitizing and disinfectant use - with specifics regarding COVID-19 and other bacteria and viruses. We have purchased the recommended products to use throughout the studio, and we frequently clean, sanitize and disinfect throughout the day and between clients. A professional, commercial cleaning company will continue to clean the studio on a bi-weekly basis.
When you arrive for your session, please ring the doorbell and wait until we are ready to welcome you. We will take as much time as necessary to prep & disinfect the studio before you come in, so please be patient with us if we are running behind - we are still learning & may need some extra time to get into that groove.
Sessions are by appointment only, so there will never be more than a few women in the studio at any time. We will be operating at about 3% capacity (well under the 50% capacity guidelines). There will be 2-4 team members in the studio, and potentially one or two other clients, so there will always be well under 10 people in our studio at any time (well under guidelines). We will all work together to stay 6' apart whenever possible.
Your time in front of the camera will be private (you will ONLY be with members of our team during this time); but typically, we will start another client’s styling time in the Glam Room while we are photographing you in the studio.
No guests or visitors will be allowed in the studio at any time. Outfits and products and other items will be shown to you, but we ask that you avoid touching these items unless they will be used or potentially used in your session.
If you are sick or experiencing symptoms, when household members are sick, or if you are required by a health care provider to isolate or quarantine yourself or a member of your household, stay home and immediately contact us, so we can reschedule you.
You are free to use protective supplies, such as masks or non-medical cloth face coverings, gloves, disinfectant, shields, etc. (Clients will not be able to use protective wear during makeup application or photography time, for obvious reasons).
Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently upon entering our studio, after using the toilet, after touching your face, and throughout the day. Hand-sanitizer dispensers will be available and placed in convenient, easily accessible areas throughout the studio.
Should you wish for a completely contactless payment, simply request an invoice for your balance, and pay at least 24 hours before your session online.
WHAT ELSE TO BRING
Please bring your own beverage (water, coffee, etc) as our dispensers will not be available at this time. Please bring your own mascara.
Thank you for your continued trust in our company. As with the transmission of any communicable disease like a cold or the flu, you may be exposed to COVID-19, also known as “Coronavirus”, at any time or in any place. Be assured that we will continue to follow regulations and recommended protection and disinfections protocols to limit transmission of all diseases in our studio.
Despite our careful attention to sterilization, disinfection, there is still a chance that you could be exposed to an illness in studio, just as you might be at the grocery store, gym or your favorite restaurant. Although we have taken measure to provide social distancing in our studio, due to the nature of the services we provide, it is not possible to maintain social distancing between our clients and team members at all times.
Although exposure is unlikely, by coming in for your session, you accept the risk and consent to having services. If any of this is uncomfortable to you, and/or you are unwilling to accept the risk and consent to having services, we ask that you reschedule your session.
NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
PLEASE BE KIND! Should you need to reschedule, we ask for as much advance notice as possible as our team is made up of moms that schedule around their families.
